Basic Cycles is a dealer of the Metropolitan line of Bicycle Arts' bikes which include the single speed 28 x 1 1/2" wheel roadsters as well as the three speed 26 x 1 3/8" wheel models. The saddles are made of leather. The brakes are of the solid rod type. The bikes are manufactured either by Forever in China or Avon in India. The roadsters are virtually identical to the Raleigh DL-1 roadsters made from the turn of the century into the early eighties.
